Roland 
Roland Corporation est un fabricant japonais d'instruments électroniques. Créé par Ikutaro Kakehashi en 1972, il sort en 1982 le Juno-60, un synthétiseur analogique très populaire ainsi que la fameuse boite à rythmes TR-808 (1981) et le Jupiter-4 (1978). Roland existe aussi sous d'autres noms : Boss (effets de guitares) et Edirol (informatique musicale).
